DDoS Attacks Confirmed

A DDoS attack sounds like something that requires a lot of resources to pull off. Its just a ton of computers accessing a server at once right? You would think that whoever has access to so many computers is rather well off or very influential. But if that's the case, wouldn't they have better things to do with their time?

In times of Cloud Services, also DDoS Botnets are up for rent.

Worst example: Even a rich kid with daddys platincard could pull that off if it happens to him he had no time on EA day and want to screw everyone elses day as well..

EU/JP had day 1 issues only which likely due to the instance server overload which passed quickly compared to NA that took 3 days and NA has been having issues since.

We had more than "day 1 issues" but that point is, that news-post sounds like "nope, not our fault, totally theirs"...
