Side quests reallly bad this expac/SB

I do not remember ARR or HW being this bad with side quests, do 1-3 MSQ and get flooded with 4-10 side quests. Please for the love of this game, on next expac cut back on the side quests and give MSQ and needed side quests (ones with aether winds or item rewards) more exp.

Edit: Oh and no more chained side quests. This is Final Fantasy NOT Everquest.

They are optional content for people who like discovering smaller things about the world. It also helps level jobs for those who don't want to spam PotD, PvP or FATEs all day. Frankly, I welcome different ways to level.

Yeah I do believe they should cut back on the amount of side quests. After awhile it just becomes tedious even though it has some important lore sometimes about the world around you they just have too many.

Seriously??? They are completely optional and there is literally no reason to be upset they are there besides them cluttering your map. If you must,ask for an option to hide them. Not remove them. I swear people are just looking for petty reasons to complain now.

I don't see any difference in the amount. I do them or leave them for an off-class. At least they mark the ones you have to do with the plus sign now.

And on a side note several of those side quest go into background lore of the environments and I love that

I don't like doing them. I found it quicker to just do 2 frontlines to get the same amount of XP and move on. They are there for people that like them though so I don't see the problem.

If you feel the need to do them you can always do the MSQ stuff first, unlock flying and then breeze through them all at the end of the zone.
