Au Ra - Allagan origin theory

It is already speculated that Au Ra might actually be descended from the dawn and dusk worm. Now what if I told you that Allagan tech might be hiding in the Azim Steppes? Look at the new dungeon for instance. An Allagan like device pops up during your "test". Look to the eastern side of the actual Azim Steppes zone, all the way up the cliffs, past the birds. You can see some kind of a cavern with a pink futuristic like structure leading down. I speculate there is more to the Au Ras history than we are told, and that they might be roaming upon a bed of hidden secrets. There's something there, and I wonder what it means for them. Note: the servers crashed so I can't get actual names at the minute. Sorry.

I'd be surprised if the Palace of the Collared Coin didn't end up becoming a dungeon later in the patch cycle, especially after the Dotharl mentioned there's some manner of crystal hidden within its depths that they believe to be a fragment of Nhaama.

It would probably be creepy as all heck, considering that it's also where they go to escape their cycle of reincarnation by reuniting with Nhaama (That is, they commit suicide by hurling themselves into the depths of the palace).

That's what she claims, but after you bring her letter to her friend, she tells you the truth.

It was a pretty depressing quest overall, and shows a darker side of the Dotharl's whole belief in reincarnation, as it puts so much pressure on some of them to live up to the standard they set in their past life that they simply can't bear it sometimes.

What I got from that questline was that I was just rewarded money and an item for helping someone kill themselves.

Then maybe the High Allagan casting masks the Qestir have wasn't a mistake after all.

Let's see, High Allagan casting masks, the Breakblade showing up on a Xaela warrior's waist, a few ruins with rather Allagan (LotA in particular) carvings, and the prior knowledge that Allag's been just about everywhere, and what a few of the Azyss Lla "fish" descriptions say...it's possible.

But with Magnai also having Titan's axe, and the Kugane is open to trade with everyone (and Reunion basically being the Steppe's version) he or a previous khan could have gotten it from a trader some time back. Same with the Breakblade and maybe the replica High Allagan masks. Other than the Allagan-ish carving in the ruins, it's hard to say which is more likely: excavated and passed down through the generations, just passed down through the generations after being created by Allag and diluting the story, or traded and bought.

Just need to keep on digging and wait and see if future quests offer more insight.
