Just a note.
Beeing watching several EXT kills of Susano and Lakshmi on YT, on all servers (NA, JP and EU) and from what I've seen, like 60-70% of the videos, had a SCH on it, and he had 0 MP issues.

THere is one video in particular, a JP guy playing with controller. Dude heals a lot, dps a lot, and never below 50% MP.

Not saying this with the idea of "nah boyz, SCH is supah fine", more in the way of "I know we've been hit, but we still are fine for the job we gotta do".

I myself, despite the nerf to Aetherflow, thanks to using Lucid Dreaming (I know I know, we are forced to take it because of the nerf to Aether...not talking about that right now) haven't find myself with MP issues, not even with one or two Raise mid combat.

I could only give my experience and I PUG which means I tend to have to use more recourses making up for silly mistakes the tend not to happen in static or EX level parties. this is especially true as my tank might not have the best gear or zerg rush and pull more then they should. when that happen I either keep them alive and hover on empty or I or they make a mistake and we wipe.

Another use for Excogitation is when HP is lower than 50%. It will heal immediately , so it's a more potent Lustrate in that case.

And I honestly don't get why people are so upset about Stratagem. It's a flat +15% crit chance for all party. Did several tests yesterday, and it increased my crit chance from about 20% to almost 35%.

I think it's because that's all it does, meaning it's just Battle Litany.

It'd help a good bit with DPS checks. I don't see anything wrong with Strategem. Would have been nice for it to be 20% like in the tour build.

And why is it bad? It ' a good party synergy for burning phases, direct damage buff. Combined with battle litany it guarantees very high crit rate, around 60%, if not more.

Ideally you'd basically have Litany + Strategem + Bard's Crit and Direct Hit buff up at once for maximum damage for a party.

My fear is that it will be the one skill everyone cries is op and it'll be why we stay as bad off as we are now because the thought of scholar buffs if we are allowed to keep stratagem...oh you don't need to heal better you have this awesome utility no other healer has etc etc.

AST has their cards AND they have more potent shields than SCH. I think they would def. let us keep Strategem.

The one complaint I saw for Strategem was people thinking it was multiplicative rather than additive. But that seems unfounded now.
