Normal Falcon as a mount?

I really like mounts that feel like actual mounts and less like a ball of aetherbling so a +1 for the Travel Falcon Mount.

One reason why i never got into farming birds... other than phoenix which I'd love to have, i don't care for them and the new wolves are even worse with their tacky wing type animations. I'll have to try a porter mount and see soon.

I just hope they don't make it obtainable through some convoluted means. Like, can I just buy it (in-game) and let that be that?

My chocobo's name is Iwantafalcon for a reason. I really want one of those porters 'cause the sit animation looks so cool, like I'm hunting. And it's not too big of a mount that I can enjoy the view from the sky. Just love the simplicity of it. Pair that with a falcon minion would be X100 cooler.

I'd love a normal looking falcon/hawk mount. While I love my Phoenix bird, I really never use the other birds.

The new wolf mounts even look odd... I think it's because they don't blink. Even the horses and birds would blink.

I would also like a "normal" horse. As much as I love galloping around on my shiny, shiny ponies, when I want to feel immersed in the steppes I'm out of luck.
Normal looking regional mounts is what I'm ultimately after I suppose.

(and I would definitely buy a normal looking horse with Mongolian or Tibetan saddles and decoration. Or a Falcon with the porter decoration or something similar to what the Manta has)

Honestly, if I had a falcon-porter styled lanner available I would farm for it endlessly. They're really quite pretty. Yes!
