Normal Falcon as a mount?

I'd like a normal bird mount, general prefer a more subdued aesthetic anyway. Not everything has to glow.

I am with you on this one. I would like a normal Falcon to ride on :P Would be good post expansion side-quest. It would be cool if the Falcon porters had a back story to why they chose falcons vs chocobos or something.

I think Chocobos aren't native to Othard, so they don't have them there. IIRC, in quests, merchants and travelers not from Eorzea always comment on how smelly our horsebirds are.

Just rode a falcon porter for the first time and the mount coloration + music is awesome and I wish we could get one through some means!

Ever since I first saw this porter I have been expecting it to be implemented a the end of SB MSQ or somewhere in it like the black chocobo was, but nope...still waiting, I agree with you OP.

How different is the Falcon mount to the Griffin one? I've never used a porter but imagine that they're not too different.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the normal falcon was the new companion that could use and level up like the chocobo.
