after playing the AST job quest line.... a Geomancer healer seems very likely at some point.

I want a Time Mage. The ability to speed up actions reduce Ogcd for your party member is a godsend.
BLU as a masochist mp based tank that builds meter with hits from enemies and use it for enmity or DD combos using enemy learnt stuff
DNC as a melee healer that builds meter with combos and use it for auto heal party due certain conditions (lowest hp, role) so theres no default need to retarget unless you really need it, dancesthat debuff enemies to help mitigate damage
New Job 2018: Bank Manager.
Special Attack Skill: Gil Toss.
Special Passive Skill: RMT Auto-Block.

Give it to me!!

If Alisae is a RDM...then her brother should be BLU. BLU was hinted at with the ,essage the devs sent with our Ala Mhigan earrings. Alphi wears blue and he's scholarly and studies things, BLU mages study their opponents and use their magicks against them. It's very BLU like. He could use a whip as a weapon.
Alphinaud wears a blue hairtie, and Alisae wears a red one. It makes perfect sense!

What about apothecary as a healer?

He has both, good and bad.
Was just thinking HW theme was blue, Stormblood is red, next one might be green and we need a healer. Gren+Healer= Plants. Since it can't be Botanist, it might be Herbalist or Apothecary. A bit farfetched, I know, but why not?

Chemist was the starter job in the OG FFT on PS1 that could heal at range by physically throwing potions at nearby allies. Just apply that logic along with the already placed precident for Item mixing in older FF titles.
Since we now have the job specific gauges to better watch mechanics, keeping track of brews and having specialty mixed potions you can put together along with some defaults that play like regular skills makes the idea of an "apothecary" healer, or just an itemist in general, more feasible.
Could even make it a DoT focussed fighter as SMN/SCH previously was for players that miss that style or for those that like DoT heavy combat without the added pet.
Lorewise, we could technically make it a Garlean job as their magic-less race would've needed a way to care for feild combatants pre-magitek.
