Dismantle is kinda meh.....it's only 10% for 5 seconds....one hit....tanks can easily survive tank busters, and a lot of the time you get overhealed anyways so the 10% less damage taken is nothing.

Yeah while Dismantle being a flat 10% less damage is nice. 5 seconds is AT BEST 3 hits (2 autos and something else -maybe-).
Heck, at 5 seconds it's easy to miscalculate and use it way too early.
I don't understand why it has 50% less duration than Palisade or Epocastatis.
The only thing I can say I really agree with here is that Cooldown needs to be an oGCD. Flamethrower can feel a bit weird (and bad timing on it really hurts) but overall I don't feel MCH is weak at all. Not when it's early into 4.0 and time/gear will only see us get stronger.
You do understand that MCH is 200~300 DPS behind BRD, with less utility, less raid DPS and lower personal DPS? Right? MCH is hands down undertuned and super weak right now compared to other DPS in the game. The only thing I can say I really agree with here is that Cooldown needs to be an oGCD. Haven't had the time to get to Bard yet, but if that's the case, it'll get buffed. SE's "No DPS left behind" mentality will see to that. Beyond that however, I personally haven't found myself at a loss or behind other DPS I've come across yet. But one could easily say the difference there is the player skill, not the kit.
Mostly because people haven't figured out rotations for themselves. I've played with high level players in their class. BRD runs over MCH all day. Its not even a contest. Maximum effort no mess ups. BRD>MCH and even if the BRD messes up. I can wipe the floor with PF DPS all day long. That's not an issue. This is talking about high level play, and currently MCH is trash tier.Haven't had the time to get to Bard yet, but if that's the case, it'll get buffed. the problem with that it took them ages to get mch into just viable option and mch didn't become Must have till later half of Heavensward, Currently they are MUST avoid even I dare not even bring my mch into EX kills because it frankly Drags the whole group down with it because it is so bad. Got my sam to 70 fucking greatest choice I've made Exs are dropping much faster.Haven't had the time to get to Bard yet, but if that's the case, it'll get buffed. And like I said, if it's THAT bad, it'll get buffed. You know, like BLM did for Second Coil, DRG for Final, MCH for Midas, and BRD again for Creator.
It's week 2 of the expansion and the new raid isn't even out yet. Definitely good to give feedback, but the sky is certainly not falling.
If it takes MCH a whole tier to get into a good spot like it did in Heavensward, that means MCH players have a good 4 months to go be raiding with something else instead. And like I said, if it's THAT bad, it'll get buffed. Yes, Lead Shot, one of the most damaging DoTs in the game and a significant portion of our DPS is no longer in the game, at all.
Soooo, now that I've played it a lot more I'll say I've come to love the keeping-heat-at-50-99. Yep, I think it's fun to keep it going while everything else is going on as well.
Though what I don't like is how hard it is to recover from it. Not the 10s where GB can't be equipped (whether that's too long or not I can't say) but the moment you put GB back on. Then what? The times I've overheated I found myself either in a period where everything was on cd, or Reload going off cd.
First scenario the fastest way is to just spam Hot Shot x5. I mean, it works...
Ammo won't get me any heat, and holding the cd is no good either. Everywhere else it makes sense that ammo stops heat, so idk really.
What I've done so far is just carrying on per usual, reequipping GB, pretending nothing happened and just pray that the promised Flamethrower and Barrel Stabilizer is close.
If we had some sort of emergency skill to give x amount of heat that could only be used at 0 heat, I think that'd been nice.
This is kinda niche, but I think it's very important because we're currently not in a spot where we can afford to mess up damage wise. Having a double penalty on top of that just makes it even tougher.
