    Addendum to Balance Gauge

While i really like the balance gauge of Red Mage, it would be highly desired to see some manner of visual que on either of the white and black mana for verstone ready and verfire ready respectively.

The whole purpose of the gauges is tp limit how many times your glancing up at timers, procs and buffs right?

I feel like this is an easy idea thats useful enough to implement.

I haven't tried red mage yet, but as a Warrior I hear a sound effect whenever my gauge reaches %50. Does the red mage gauge have any sound effects built into certain % intervals?

Chiraisu's suggestion isn't about the levels of the gauges or their balance, which are fine.

It's that RDM is a priority based job with two of its spells locked out until procs happen, and could benefit from indicators that show procs have unlocked the spells, so that we don't have to look at hotbars or the buff bar to see if they're usable.

For example, engulfing the number on the black side in flame when Verfire Ready, and encasing the number on the white side in a rock when Verstone Ready.

He is indeed right. There isn't any strong visual or audio effect for the procs to Fire and Stone.

Other than the admittedly brief window of floating text shown, the buff in status bar and the outline of the skill itself, there is no other way to know

As i largely play on a controller, my skills are not always in clean view. This leaves me to rely on confirming the proc from the buff in the status.

Sometimes i forget altogether to even check for the proc (yes I'm bad).

A visual that lights up would be awesome

What i may do is put a second copy of stone and fire just below my balance gauge on an invisible and largely unused hot bar. I feel that'd help

To be fair this isn't something I would consider a huge priority since RDM revolves around dual casting and the second spell triggers the GCD so you've got an extremely wide window to pick what spell you want to cast next.

It's not like Firestarter procs where you could potentially cast Fire III immediately after casting the Fire that proc'd it but you don't have a huge window to work with. That being said more flavor on the bar never hurt anyone.
