the questing is not fun

quests are boring,so little voicing ,reading the tiny print of overly wordy text is killing the atmosphere,i started skipping all msq texts and even cutscenes cuz no voice,i'm not reading walls of text

there are no animations for characters just the pose things,very unnatural pauses that seem to drag out the tedious text scenes even more

i played several mmos and this one has the worst questing BY A MILE
writing is terrible,too many worlds too little information,overly dramatic that feels like it was written by an angsty 15 year old teen girl,the horrible attempt at "meaningful" expressions and pauses just makes it more tedious to sit and click through.stop spewing "shake-a-spearian" old'e englesh everywhere,with no voicing it's painful to read

Personally I found the lore and the text in the Stormblood quests quite interesting and compelling... Different things for different people...

there's quite a bit of voice acting here, certianly more than in the earlier quests, they can't do it everywhere since voice acting is expensive but it's in most of the important scenes.

Are you seriously complaining that you aren't going to read walls of text in an RPG? LOL, I think you're playing the wrong genre if you want every scene read to you.

And unless your class shown is an alt, you're only level 61. A bit too early to think there's "too much text", no?

This! I've been really loving them this time around; I'm still kinda sad about one sidequest in the steppe... I won't give spoilers, but I think most people that read that quest dialogue were like "Oh.... oh, that's not good ._." at the end lol

I'll admit I felt like I had this problem back at the beginning of Heavensward. By half way through I would be complaining at every cliff hanger, waiting eagerly for the next patch. Give it time. They're setting up the stage for the rest of the expansion to be based off of, laying a foundation. I see lots of potential in this expansion and can't wait to see where it goes!

Same. I remember a topic over a year ago about this and the way they speak. I hate it to be honest.
I understand them for the most part but I would like a more "modern" speakin' approach. Some NPCS do this.

But you know what bugs me the most so far, voicin' wise? I can't STAND the fact, this is all based in
some "Asian/Japanese" setting and yet most have a British accent...I cannot stand it, period.
If I had to complain about anything of an immersion breaker, it's this. Not only that, we sailed a good
distance away from Eorzea so most people should not even have the same accent.
