    Unable to access Stormblood after Early Access

    Ok, so after dealing with the useless entity that is SE Customer Support, I am beyond frustrated. I have had a ticket in for about a week with the only response being a cut and paste script that tells me what I already know and provides zero help. Spent an hour on the phone on hold with no answer, and then 3 hours in chat support queue before finally getting someone to respond, BUT I was in the restroom for 5 minutes and that just happens to be when they decided to finally respond, so they disconnected after 2 minutes of waiting.

    Ok, now that I've vented that frustration, to the matter at hand.

    I used my 18 digit preorder code to get my 20 digit early access code to play Stormblood before official release. CHECK! Now that it's past that point, the game is requiring me to enter in a mysterious 3rd code that I never received in an email or other avenue of communication. Entering in the 20 digit code I had before of course yields no results but an error message indicating that it has already been used. So my question here is where the hell is this mysterious code hiding? Was it supposed to be sent in an email? Snail mail? Carrier pigeon? Smoke signal? Please someone help me out. I've been dying to play FFXIV, but there's no reason unless I have SB access.

    Well I don't know what version you ordered, digital or physical (pc,mac or ps4) and from what store you ordered (SE, 3rd party retailer, psn), therefore I will try my best to give you multiple options, in the hope we can locate your code somewhere.

    If you ordered from a 3rd retailer aka Amazon/Game Stop/Ebay etc. (Digital):

    1) log into your mail and try locating any email that has been sent on or after June 20th (check spam, trash, social, promo, all mail etc)
    2) if you couldn't locate any email check your receipt you might have gotten from the 3rd retailer as you purchased the game
    3) If you still can't locate it, log into their online store, if there's any and take a look at your order details or invoice
    4) if you still haven't found the key get in touch with the retailers customer service and have them give you a code/key

    5) register the version the same way as described in the next part for the NA/EU store.

    If you purchased from SE NA/EU digital:

    1) Log into the NA/EU store
    2) go to your orders or invoice if you have invoiced them already
    3) press the "unlock code" button, even if you have done it prior example during EA, because now that code will have changed to the actual game code

    After you located these keys/codes, log into the mog station, click account, then underneath all the big main buttons, there is a little blue for some people red link, that says register expansion.
    Click that, put the new code in, make sure it's the right account, confirm. You will get a message that states thank you for your purchase of Stormblood or something like that, now click on your account, take a look if you have a little "O" next to stormblood and the version you have purchased, if so close mog station and log into the game.


    If you purchased it physically you will have to wait till you receive your copy per UPS, USPS, FEDEX etc. and will be able after receiving that, to enter it in the mog station. Sadly I can't help with PS4 since I don't own that, I don't wanna try helping with false information, same with steam, however some steam customers do claim, that their code was in their Game library under steam "view key", and some claim that their key was in their actual steam account after they logged in the steam store on the webpage. Again I don't have experience with that, therefore I can't say 100% if that's where the steam key would be. Hope it helped.

    Thanks a bunch. For some reason, the retailer was holding on to the code. I had to actually retrieve it. This solves it. From now on, only buying directly from SE

    SE made me go hunting for the code too. There are two codes. One for early access and one for the expansion itself.
