I got a map (not Gazelleskin. Gangaskin? Something like that) at the Dragon's Struggle in Yanxia. Can you only get maps when spearfishing now? I haven't gotten any while rod fishing in SB.

You can definitely get them from rod fishing! All the ones we have found so far should be listed in the spreadsheet on the Rod Fishing tab. It looks like I updated the zone pages and not the Rod Fishing tab... So they should be there now! Ctrl+F 'Map' and you should find em!

Information on the The Ruby Sea: Shoal Rock, Tome of Ichthyological Othard fish is still missing. Has anyone figured this one out yet?

The market prohibited "Harutsuge Sprag" quest fish isn't the same as the fully-grown and endangered "Harutsuge." The "Harutsuge" can be sold on the market-board and put in an aquarium.

I've, personally, had no luck with this fish, using both Live Shrimp and Bream Lures for all weathers, and with and without snagging.

Fish Eyes doesn't do anything, and nothing can be mooched in this hole.

edit: Although, I haven't tested for any transitional weather requirements. - I'm not that devoted...

It's probably a time/weather window with Fish Eyes. We had the same thing with another folklore fish in another zone and Fish Eyes is only able to be cast during the correct window. Just going to take a lot of trial and error. I'll be sure to update the spreadsheet as soon as we find it though!

Hello thank you for putting time together to make this spreadsheet ! Just a one question though. Do you know what bait i should use to Butterfly fish in the ruby sea? i'm currently only getting grinning anchovy... it's gotten to that point where I think the the fish is actually grinning mockingly at me since i havent gotten anything else XD lol

The Bream Lure should have the highest catch rate, so use that if you can with Patience II. I've used Live Shrimp with Patience II as well and had great results. Patience II attracts large fish, so you get a good number of Butterfly Fish during the buff duration. Save your GP for medium tugs and use Powerful Hookset. Bait Fishing has required an awkwardly high level of gathering as well. Are you seeing many fish get away? Specifically medium fish getting away?

Yes I actually do fail alot on some catches I'm wondering if it's also my level I am only level 64 with just over 600 so I don't usually have enough gp to do very many Powerful Hooksets after using patience II

The gathering requirement for bait fishing is kind of crazy. I have over 900 gathering and still have fish get away. I usually recommend spear fishing to level 70. At 64 you can farm Sea Pickles with Veteran Trade really well and switch over to Sea Lamps at level 70. After that, get the level 70 vendor gear and go back to catch everything you missed.
