Navigating WAR in the new content - How to avoid the squish and optimize rotation?

    Happy launch day everyone

So after cleaving through a couple of dungeons in SB I'm sure I'm not the only one that can feel the differences. And with the official launch there will no doubt be more little WAR's out there dipping their shiny axes into the new content.

So let's help one another in order to save those exited warriors from popping the veins in the eyes of our esteemed healer colleagues.

What would you recommend in terms of:
    • Rotation
    • Gear optimizing during leveling to ease the burden on the healers and avoid the squish
    • CDs and use of the new skills
    • Strategies for pulls during new content

I've made this thread as I've seen quite a few complaints about clumsy/squishy WARs that cant hold aggro well enough from healers in the /shout chats in game. And with launch there will no doubt be more. So let's exchange information and try to improve the standard of living for our ax wielding friends and perhaps help a few that used a potion.

I find tenacity on the left side and a few STR accessories on the right side are good for leveling. The tenacity adds mitigation to make up for lost vit, and the damage isn't half bad either, while the STR is for obvious purposes.

I use two sets of 3 defensive CDs. Start in defiance and gather things up with an overpower, put up storms' eye buff, upheaval something, then switch to deliverance and pop infuriate+berserk and proceed with overpower spam, decimate just before berserk runs out.

The CD sets I use are rampart, thrill of battle, and convalescence for one pull
then vengeance, awareness, and raw intuition for another pull.

It's just not practical to use most of your new skills, like onslaught. shake it off is just to be used as necessary, and inner release won't ever see the light of day during pulls due to the time it takes to use and get its full use. That said, it's going to be the same old spamming overpower and decimate.

So, as far as I can tell, it appears that you spend a great deal of time chaining defensive CDs one after another while farming up beast gauge for Steel Cyclones so you can hold aggro for normal pulls. Huge pulls seem really inefficient? Stance dancing seems to be something mostly reserved for more drawn out engagements. Other than that, I'm looking for more information myself.
