*Suggestion for RDM (sorry my english is not my native language)
First of all i want to say that i really enjoy and i dont mind at all how the current RDM is.
Saying this, since many many people complain about the melee, i think that this could make everybody happy.
The main point of this is that the devs cant just change the whole mechanics of the Rdm, so we can ask for just few fixes:
So the idea is to make the whole "combo" cost 30 (15+10+5?) mana, and each time you use Redoublement in combo, it will grants you a stack of "say a stack name" that has no duration.
- With no stacks, you are able to use the enhanced version of skills, but with just normal speed (2.5s gcd).
- The first stack allow you to use the skills with +x% speed (2.0s gcd?)
- The second stack allow you to use the skills with the actual speed (1.5 gcd) plus it allow you to use flare/holy after you use Redoublement
- Using flare/holy will use all the stacks
Then, need to increase the CD of the ingage/disendage skills by xx seconds, since you will change the time you are in melee and the time required to fill the bar till 90.
Right now we have a rotation that require about 40 seconds wich:
- 5 seconds are in melee
- 35 seconds are casting
If we do as i say we will have about 65 seconds rotation wich:
- 20 seconds are in melee
- 45 seconds are casting
In this way we are supposed to be 30% of time in melee and 30% each on white and black magic.
Since there are many people that complains about how boring is aoe (and in this case i agree with them), this small fix should make all more fun:
- Add the effect to Mulinel that gives the same stack as Redoublement (with same type of stacks). So that when you use 3 mulinel you can finish with flare/holy, then allow to cast flare/holy AOE (usable only when you use Mulinet to consume the third stack)
With these very small fix, i think we can make the rdm more fun for all. Since it is not going to change at all the mechanics.
- For the potency, we need someone that is good with math, in order to have about the same output we have now ^^
