As I posted in another thread, if the AFK timer weren't circumvented, the timer wouldn't be three hours long. The more people cycling out of the game at any given moment, the quicker the queue moves.

As an example:

Friday, Early Access, First Day, before the AFK Timer Circumventing was really in full force: 2800 people in queue. Time to get into the game was about... 30 minutes or so.
Sunday, Day Three: The AFK Timer Circumventing seems to be pretty ubiquitous: 3400 people in queue. Time to progress 1200 people: One Hour and 30 minutes.

See the difference? The very behavior they are exhibiting is only worsening the problem they are trying to avoid. If things played out like they were supposed to, then we wouldn't be looking at the wait times that we are, and neither would they.
