If SE wants people not to do what they are doing to avoid being kicked out they need only make those mechanics not ignore the auto-logout system.

Since they haven't done that in two expansions, logic dictates that they don't give a crap about people doing it.

Ergo: Have at it.

Or, they believe people will be considerate and think of the group over the individual...
