Hello, after experiencing the Rhaubhn and Pinpin quests block while progressing on Stormbloods storyline, everyone, including myself, have been thinking on ways to prevent this from happening in future big updates with a lot of story and solo duties content.

As the game grows and new players join, this issue will become more common, I can imagine how stressing and tiring these past days were for the SE team, and how many extra hours were put in trying to fix the problem.

My preventive idea for this problem is pretty simple, to implement a solo Duty Finder queue, just like the dungeons/trials queue, when speaking to an solo instance entrance or NPC, the player will be placed into a waiting like (exactly like when we queue for any Duty Finder now) the information displayed will of course, the number in the waiting line, also a approximate estimate of the waiting time.

With this system, players should be able leave the area to do other things that do not include the Duty Finder at all, like crafting, gathering, fishing, exploring, finding aether currents or vistas, hanging out with friends, or just watch TV or half AFK until the DF windows pop waiting for the player to hit the commence button.

As a player perspective, the waiting on a long queue is far better than sitting at a NPC clicking over and over, just because it allows me to spend the waiting time doing other things, and being able to do other things would make the waiting less painful. Also, by having a estimate of how long it will take for the Duty pop, it allows me to decide if I want to wait for it, or cancel it and try later.

I was one of the lucky people that got past the walls after 50 tries, I have FC members who spent hours clicking and getting more and more frustrated about it, the idea of "wait and try later" is not one most people will go for, simply because we hear and know that others who do not just give up, will get through and enjoy all the content we have been so eager for.

I know some people might think that those who can't wait and try later are just impatient and want to burn through the content. Well this is far from true, I wouldn't say they are impatient, I would say they are excited to play the game we all love so much and try out all the new things added with the expansion.

The reason why I say this is because, people who were stuck behind the quest wall for days, ended up getting through and all they are doing right now is exploring and spear fishing, rather than rush to level 70 and finish the quests as soon as possible.

Also, I don't know if Yoshi and the rest of the team remembers, but during one of the live Q&A in a convention, a player asked if it would be possible to allow players to revisit old story quest fights, this system would allow it, they could go to their Duty Finder Solo queue section, which could be displayed with a small icon near all the categories for the Duty Finder, and there it will list all the Solo instances names and a resume of the story and what is that duty about in the Description section.

Either way! this is my suggestion, and I am truly sorry for the huge text.
Thank you for all your hard work, Vogue.
