"New Adventurer" Sprout Won't Go Away

I've read up on a dozen different forums and websites about this, but they all say "it will go away after 40 hours of gameplay". I've also heard it will go away after 120 hours of game play. I know I can change it myself, but I have to do that every single time I log in, and it's a little irritating. I've put in nearly 300 hours of in game time game play. Only other thing I could think is I haven't played for a paid full month yet, I just finished my free month that came with the game about 10 days ago.

A couple of my friends started playing at the same time and really only got on together; one has the sprout still, the other lost his. So I am realizing that while it has a system, or tries to, it doesn't work some of the time?

Any help or thoughts or whatever would be appreciated.

It was recently changed. Completion of 2.55 story and 168 hours (7 days) are needed for the sprout to go away.

Just leveled an alt recently and embraced my sprout for a little while. Really threw people off seeing a Sprout in A8N with 220-230 gear and some midan gear lol.

You need to have 168 hours of playtime and have completed all of the ARR MSQ up to "Before the Dawn."

Ahhhhh ok awesome. Thanks!! When did they change it (if you happen to know)? And would someone be grandfathered in to the original system if they had made an account before it changed?

It was changed last patch. People who had lost their sprout before but still meet the requirements now are now sprouts again.

Huh. Interesting. A friend of mine has played just about the same amount as me (if not less) and is behind in the story line, and he lost his sprout lol.

They might have to turn it on again if they previously lost it. /nastatus on.

yeah I've seen sprout machinists/dark knight/astro..it throws me off too lol

Use the command '/nastatus off' to turn it off manually. You can turn it back on with '/nastatus on' if you want.

I wonder why my alt didnt get her sprout back. I dont think she has 40hrs of play time either.

Edit: Nvm, I guess I must have left her afk over night or something a few times... she had 7 days of playtime o.0
