Inconsistency with Midaire Setsugekka

came up in fc chat some people were talking about how midaire setsugekka is really inconsistent

all buffs the same etc. have dmg buff have slash debuff, damage is really random.

lv 56 SAM no Kaiten: 2058, 1974, 1928
lv 63 SAM w/ Kaiten: 12695, 10895, 9914
lv56 SAM no Kaiten 2: 2160, 2121, 2316, 2207, 2118

not a big deal at my level but the gap keeps growing as I level and a 200 damage difference has become 3000 damage difference. are SAM players at level 70 going to see 7k+ differences in their strongest abilities?

this. i'm 70, ilvl 295, normal midare hits for ~10k and direct hit crit is ~23k. The high potency of midare allows for such a difference but it works the same way for every skill in the game.

Normal hits, direct hits, crits, and direct crits. Especially with the introduction of direct hit I'm not surprised at all that damage is so variable

i havent really informed myself about direct hit but person in fc is saying they didnt get any direct hit

well if you are doing everything right you should be rewarded for it lol

if the class is balanced around having such a powerful ability id hope numbers are as consistent coming in as other classes' numbers
