    While everyone here is acting smart I do agree that this expansion (customization wise) was very dissapointing specially for my girlfriend (the owner of this account). Everything else is incredibly good and to me they outdid themselves on every other aspect but the fact that they have double or more the budget from heavenward and how they showed many different faces on the CGI and the many new different characters from the story we were very disappointed that there wasn't any new character customization features or no new raze or nothing at all. I would've liked it if they atlas gave us new faces or something. But hey 1 small negative on a sea of positives that is this expansion so oh well...

    I would be already happy about some new hair which is not gender neutral. More long and girly hairstyles.
    And of course the hime cut which is badly needed, especially for this expansion, or at least unlock other races hairstyles for all races.

    I must admit that I was initially disappointed at the lack of anything related to character customization. I guess 3.0 spoiled me with a whole new race, haha. But anyway, now that the expansion has been released, I don't find myself missing the customization. I'm enjoying everything else way too much, and I'm actually happy with my current characters. Furthermore, I don't lose hope that we'll get more customization options in the future ^^

    Yeah this disappointed me the most (next to no housing changes..) when it was said at the fanfests..really you added a new whole race in 3.0 yet somehow in 4.0 you are not even able to give us at least one new face option for each race, or at least a couple of hairstyles? The one sightly longer short hairstyle is alright but the really short one looks like a mess. Also no new face paints, tattoos or scars..you know, things people have wished for quite the time. Zones might look good/interesting but the thing you will see the most is your character so it would have been nice to see at least some customization.

    And yes seeing all those re-used dungeon gear too feels bad..like its fine if these are in a patch since its mostly catch up gear..but I do want unique gear in a new expansion..and on top of that I only saw 1 Asian looking gear on the MB..while a lot of the NPCs are wearing the mog station set..is a simple dyeable kimono dress too much to ask?

    A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
