Actually, it does make sense to re-enter a code again. If you pre ordered off of amazon for instance, you got your early access code within 24 hours. You could have cancelled your order at that point and kept the early access forever otherwise. Amazon doesn't cancel the pre order codes if you cancel the pre order. Early access codes aren't attached to the copy you bought and are getting whatsoever. They're treated separately. It's also why early access expires this Friday. This stops scammers who want to abuse the system.
It makes total sense for SE to not release the codes until midnight and require them to continue playing after Friday.

Just so you know, SE is the only MMO company I've ever seen do this. In all of the other MMO's that do this, if you've pre-ordered, they just upgrade your early access to the full client automatically without you having to go through any extra hoops. *That* is the correct and intelligent way to do this, what SE is doing is just irritating and obtuse.
I'm not arguing or have any real opinion on this. I'm just saying how they do it and likely why they do it. It doesn't matter to me since early access doesn't end until Friday. I can enter the code whenever and it doesn't matter. It only affects those who didn't have early access and are waiting to play first thing at midnight tonight.Just so you know, SE is the only MMO company I've ever seen do this.
