The 60 and 63 dark knight quest touches on aspects of forgiveness. Basically people who have been former enemies, or may have known former enemies by association.

The urge to twist the knife, to kick people while they are down, to shun and shoo away, is real. It is a problem victory often does not cure so much as "spread it around". I think that may be a theme in Stormblood, and how its effects reach far more than what seemed like "an acceptable target".

I haven't done the other quests yet, but it kinda made me wonder about what people, given the chance, would do to "the deserving.", and how it doesn't always come from the top.

It is a nice touch that they are covering how people are often placing the actions of others onto another because of some small relation to the person. Hatred can blind people resulting in them to condemn another for being relating to a person in anyway but to let the hatred go and remember there is no justice to harm those who did not commit the crime can lead to peace if not salvation for them.

4.0 Job storyline certain have been put through more effort this time compared to past Job storylines.

"Don't punish a child for the sins of their parent" was a key theme in Heavensward.
