If you look realllly close, theres a crescent sliver (which would probably just be an almost eclipsed Menphina) above the giant death ball (which I think is ACTUALLY Dalamud) which could only mean.....!?!

Yup, I think that the 'meteor' that Cid mentions is actually dalamund and that it is going to fall onto Eorzea. This could explain why the map is going to change so much. (When in reality if a meteor of that size were to actually hit our planet well, we would be screwed)

It can be a *magic meteor* that creates instead of destroying (or something like that).

If you compared Dalamud's original size (back in beta/before it got bigger/red-der) to the size of the moon (considering we're still going to be bound by rules that work in real space) then Dalamud is only a fraction of the size of Melphina. (It would be getting red/bigger because its entering Eorzea's atmosphere coming right at us?) If Melphina itself is a fraction of the size of Eorzea (Like how the Moon is smaller than Earth), then it wouldn't entirely destroy the planet Eorzea is on (starts with an H?) unless it unfortunately flattened one of our three cities. Dalamud is probably like 1/50th the size of Eorzea so we'd all still live! (the cockroaches will at least).

I'm none the less incredibly interested to see how this cataclysmic storyline plays out!
