level 61 and 63 dungeons...aesthetically cool but dull unmemorable encounters...

I have done the 61 and 63 dungeons and while I enjoyed them aesthetically, I couldn't help but think how dull the fights are. Why is there a lack of innovation here? Some dynamic randomness with pathways, choices, puzzles, something. Was anyone else hoping SE would innovate in their dungeon design just a LITTLE bit?

Casu rule. If you do more than one path or puzzle, casus will be lost.
Tho I like the innovation of the lvl 65 dungeon's 2nd boss.

Those 2 dungeons are pretty much what they are. They get people a chance to get used to the changes. The lvl 67 dungeon is more up to speed, and is beautiful and has nice encounters

We have arrived in the Age of Jump Potions. Where Players with Zero knowledge can be instant lvl60 and start to learn the class from that Level on.

Thats said, it's no suprise, that the new beginner dungeons start easy. I'm positive they will get tougher again.

As much as I'd love all this, I really doubt SE is gonna change their dull linear dungeon format any time soon.

Saying that I was actually amazed that they tried something even slightly different in the 65 dungeon. Please look forward to it.

I found Sirensong to be a really nice, appealing first dungeon. Similar mechanics, very different feel, but overall a nice welcome.

Shisui is purely aesthetic but it's awesome for a nice quick run due to the second trash pull being manageable in one.

    Overall: agreed.

But 65 dungeon and onwards are next level. Second boss of Bardam's Mettle is awesome beyond awesome. They're really changing things up this expansion!

Steps of Faith taught SE to play it safe. Some people liked it, but a very vocal proportion of the population was against it.

The issues with making dungeons well... dungeons... is no one will do them. That's the issue with instance dungeons to begin with when you have rapid leveling.

Why do a dungeon? It's not gear. People level too fast for that to matter. Ptod and fates are faster to level. So dungeons have to compete with that.

Dungeons themselves are an outdated concept in this game, unless you're doing a daily

I was able to get through those two dungeons and had to go to work before the level 65 (that I hear is really fun.) but I enjoyed how they looked, and the seduce thing was fun, though it's no different than grabbing the item to go blind on the level 50 dungeon before you have to shatter the eye.

This is the problem with no horizontal progress, at least to me, and that there's no benefit on making dungeons do more than they need to. If we didn't have this whole item level thing and relaxed a bit, spread things out then we would have less dungeons that could be a lot more deep. Though we don't because of the player base demand and how they will react with options like that.
