Asking some help for friend

So a friend of mine has been playing on their PC and they recently bought the complete edition for the PS4 they redeem the codes on PSN but when they went to the launcher to start Final Fantasy 14 it says there was no Final Fantasy XIV linked to their Square Enix account that would be the PS4 edition that is. Is there something else that she needs to be doing some other step that we missed or something that haven't thought of?

Can someone help me out? I Purchased the ffxiv bundle on ps4 and redeemed code from the cd copy but when i tried to log it says check acct no service is activated. I play on pc and I have my service up and running since last year.... I also went to mog station and it says I have to purchase a ps4 version (hard copy) how do I link my psn to my square enix acct. Thanks

You don't register PS4 codes on the Mog Station.

Been so long since I did it so I can't remember in detail, sorry.

Umm. When you first launch the game, doesn't it ask you if you want to create a Square Enix Account or if you already have one? Pretty sure you have to select that you have one, enter your details, then it will ask you to confirm that you want to register it. If that's not happening, sadly I can't think of how to help.

Maybe someone else with more recent experience can help out.

Yeah I helped her with it for a while and she apparently all the steps work except it's just saying that there is no Final Fantasy account linked to her Square Enix account. Can't find the cause or reason why but either way she was going to call Square Enix CS get it resolved.
