Luminary tools- a real achievement

been using them to try to get the crafting tools...

Oh well, guess these weren't put in for everyone to obtain, although I was disappointed at first I'm slowly becoming ok with that conclusion.

I do not believe that the Achievement system was designed for everyone to get everything. After reviewing the current list it appears to me that I may earn 1 Crown and some titles. These will comeabout as a result of me following the plan I have had for progression in the game. There somethings I do not care to redo <crafting>, there are some things that I do not care to do at all <play Mage jobs>. For those that I am doing I'll get the Titles which is fine. I will probably stumble onto the Butchers crown in about a year or so. Again that is fine. Achievements are fine I just do not plan to alter my games to get them.

Yes. tested on Carpenter levels 1-10 and got achievement. Just remember to stand up when you think you hit 30 crafts as you won't see the achievement until you stand. (I think 1-10 is 30 can't remember for sure off-hand).

I'm still wondering if leves count towards your total count (I'm assuming they do. I keep forgetting to test on level 1-10/ Rank 1 Nodes though lol)

It took me about 10 hous or so, Gen. It'll probably take around 24 hours for the 4000 node one. If I get 2000 oak logs before, I'll stop and grind out my Tier IV Carp achievement. But I think I'll get around 1800 oak logs for this 4k achievement.

In order to get a gathering luminary tool, you need 21,960 gathers.
Assuming the maximum of 8 attempts per node, that's 2,745 nodes.
Assuming 3 minutes per node (including walk time), that's 20 nodes per hour.
Put all that together and you get 137.25 hours of straight gathering. (~5.7 days!)

Sadly after several days of botany, I am only at 147/2,745 nodes to the luminary hatchet.
(I count in nodes because it makes the numbers look slightly more reasonable)

My linkshell could not have disbanded at a more opportune time!
