That's not my issue. My issue is with how much better it is than craftable weapons specifically for mag atk. The answer is it has about 3 points over a single meld still. I had hoped they would change this so I'm a little saddened to see they haven't changed it much. It's not like the high DMG rating on the weap helps a mage whereas it's a huge boon to a melee, yet they get the 30 atk aswell.

I would've been happy with +40.
