Experienced player looking for an FC

Hey

I recently transferred to Omega and am looking for an FC to join. I have been a gamer all my life (32) spanning many different genres and achievements ranging from region/server firsts in mmo's to grand prize wins in TF2. However that competitive drive and time dedication is a thing of the past, now I play games for fun.

I am looking for an FC to join that has serious aspirations for beating the hardest difficulty content set to be released at a decent speed. I am not however looking for a group that raids 3-5 times a week for a set number of hours, like I said, that sort of structure and time investment is long behind me. I just want to find a group of people to clear raid content with at a comfortable pace whilst having a lot of fun with. I am currently going through the MSQ with my Samurai, then I will be leveling my PLD and BRD quickly after.

I believe that FFXIV has the best community I have seen in any mmo due to the people willing to help others through content. So if the group shares this philosophy to help others so they don't have to solely rely on party finder, that would be a big bonus.

Area 51 may be what you're looking for, in terms of raiding, you have the same mentality as me, clear hard content at a comfortable pace while having fun, that's what it's all about after all.
we're small, but growing, (obviously new server, still working on the numbers) but if we all chip in helping out getting the word out, we should be able to get it all going pretty quickly
