Day 2:
The queue has gotten significantly longer. I can see Au Ra and Miqo'te forming roving hunting packs to feed on Lalafell. The last count I saw was 5,838 with an estimated wait of 5 hours. Some had made it in earlier in the day, reporting they waited 3.5 hours only to find themselves cast to the end of the line.
Sadly, even I was given this fate. As I sit, defending myself from the ravenous Miqo'te and Au Ra, holding this ticket reading 5,510; I can't help but wonder... if the ability to service everyone inside is to be guaranteed by this queue that we find ourselves so endlessly engrossed in standing for-- then why do we see members who were already present retreating to this 5-mile line's end?
I suppose in the end I will never know the truth behind these queues, however I did receive word that a parcel has been dispatched to me. Unfortunately the porter sent word that it would be delayed. I suppose that is just the reflection of the times. How soon will it improve? I suppose our only choice is to wait and see.
.... Mateus' queue seems non-existent, but the marshals governing this queue whisper to my ear each time I query them: "Nay.. you may not go to the other queue, for you own an estate, and you are 'logged in to an instance'.." It is true, being a Lalafell of some Ul'dahnian standards, I do own an estate, but.. this phrase "Logged in to an instance..." I must protest, it sounds rude.
