I feel like there's an option in setting that makes it so you don't turning to face the camera direction, but I can't say for sure.
Oh so THAT'S why it randomly stopped during Sasano earlier today. I had suspected that they might have changed it but never ended up checking afterwards...
Very silly change. Much like the utter lack of notification about cards. We still ought to have our RR effect displayed on our status bar, among other things.
I honestly only noticed it because I usually mess around in cities with the Wailing Spirit outfit and spinning in circles as a spoopy ghost. Can't do it anymore. I had originally noticed it in some instances but attributed it to server lag thinking I was still moving.
As to cards/the job gauge, I could write a novel about how terrible the changes are for AST (And many jobs in general). Hopefully they pull their heads out of their collective nether regions and at least add an option for things.
WOW. Okay, so I thought it was bad enough. Apparently even the auto follow/face after healing a target disables collective unconscious.
Did SE even test this patch?
Yeah, this is broken. Affects pad users too - I've had it happen twice in a row in one fight. Not the end of the world, but definitely needs patching or new ASTs aren't going to realise how it's meant to work o_O
I'm just more surprised that more people haven't noticed it yet.
Though they may just be attributing it to other things.
That change was made probably because of the new lvl 70 Paladin.
If you would allow to rotate while channeling Paladin would be able to move his Area of damage reducion. So they probably fixed all the channeled abilities so people wouldn't be able to rotate and AST Collective Unconscious got a collateral hit because of that.
And that's perfectly understandable, logic wise.That change was made probably because of the new lvl 70 Paladin.
