Small window bug in yet another sidequest (Something Smells)

I posted this thread earlier, but I can't reply to that one. Hence, a new thread on the same matter.
My earlier thread has been placed under Insufficient information, but I don't know how to provide ample information for this small issue. Here goes nothing:

Time: 3.44 AM (Sweden)
EDIT Frequency: This seems to happen on all sidequests where you need to use an item from the Key Items menu.
World name: Zodiark
Character name: Novarim Nightbrim
Class/Level: Ninja/64
Party or solo: Party (but it really doesn't matter)
Area and coordinates: Yanxia X: 31.2 Y:21 (one of the 6 destinations)
System: PC

Steps:
1. During the sidequest Something Smells you arrive at 6 destinations to sprinkle some smelly liquid.
2. When I press the destination marker, the window for Key Items open. But, if the worldmap is open, the active window instantly changes from Key Items to the map.
3. I then have to press B on my controller to get back to the Key Items window, as to be able to choose my key item.

I hope this is sufficient information. Unfortunately I can't make a small video clip to show. It's kind of an annoying bug though so hopefully you can fix it in the future.
