Grace period for login queues added?

Am I going crazy? I was at about 600 in my queue after like an hour and a half and my comp crashed. I about shot myself. I was mad. Now I gotta start over.

Then I got back in, tried to load, and I was back at 600 in line, and my queue is still going down. This wasn't happening earlier. Is anyone else seeing this?

There is a grace period for getting back in the queue, so to speak, but there's no grace period for going back in once you're fully logged on and through the queue, so if you crash after getting passed the queue, you have to start over.
