Suggestion: Please change the day/ night cycle times

Would it be possible to make a change to the day/night cycle times so that there is more daytime and we're not always playing in the dark?

Currently the daytime is 6 am until 6 pm with 12 hours of night time.
I think it would be better if the daytime would be increased from 5am until about 8pm with sunset hours from 8pm untill 11 pm.

I don't think I'm alone on this as I've played the game since 2.1 and it's something that's always bugged me.A lot of friends agree with me that it would be a lot better if we could see what we're doing more of the time. Thanks -Keep up the great work guys!
