5000 must be some sort of mistake. Balmung hasn't gone over the 4000s that has been reported. That being said 3500 is about 90+ mins.

Sadly no I tried logging into Tonberry (JP) at 20:30 (AEST) and faced a queue of 5027 (My sister logged in a few minutes before me and had the same thing).

Nearly 2 and half hours later and it's at 1035 to go. AT this rate the queue will probably not even pop before bloody midnight!

I queued that amount earlier only to finally log in and play not even 10 minutes before i got kicked out of the game cos of some error. Now im in the middle of queuing once again for another 3 hours plus just to play :/

Cerberus has been having 3000-5000 queues all day yesterday from 4pm to 11pm server time. I just went to bed after that since you know, wasting 6 hours per day trying to relog after the game crashed on me isn't my cup of tea. Hopefully the maint we are having as I type will fix a part of the problem, but my hopes aren't all that high. They're probably just fixing a general server crash and most likely won't increase server capacity. Sucks.

There are reports of 4000+ queues all over EU servers (only servers excluded are the dead servers Lich and Phoenix, and the new server Omega, though there have been a 13k+ queue on Omega yesterday due to too many people not being able to log into their main and trying to go to Omega for the free 15 days there). Tonberry has been reported to have 6000+ queues at some point. This is just a walking nightmare

$15 a month doesn't entitle you to skip past the thousands of other players waiting to get their chance to play the new content. After all, they pay $15 a month too.

It's not even officially launched yet. If you honestly weren't expecting this sort of thing.. well.. there's just no hope for you.

Your join date is June 2017 and your character is low level. I assume this is your first character. So why not make a new character on the Omega (EU) realm instead and enjoy the gift of 15 days free subscription? You get it by leveling to 30 there. The queues are probably shorter because it's a new realm.

It IS frustrating though.

I checked. 1643rd in queue at 18:04. First in queue at 19:05. In game at 19:14.

It's not peak hour, and it's not release either.

Basically the free time I enjoy playing games when I get home from work, I'll have to use on something other than FFXIV because it'll be wasted queuing...

No wonder people try to stay logged in...
