    Sq enix would not intend people to stay over 8 hours clicking at random to attempt to not get a system failure. This quest is obviously not functioning properly. Please let us continue on to the next step or even acknowledge the problem, I have gotten no responses through the ingame support and mesages boards. No GM has been present to investigate as far as i know.

    It's been this way for 2 days. I transferred to a JP server (where the issues was fixed after 14 hours), and I got right through the quest. I'm now in the Ruby Sea area with NO ISSUES! I will be transferring back to my server in 3 days when the server transfer lock is up.
