    Please just talk to us

    I could of gone to Hawaii, Paris, or Rome. Pretty much anywhere. But instead I chose to spend my vacation this year playing your game. I don't need a fix, I don't need an apology. What I need is some light on the situation and maybe an update every so often. I've spent the last 30 hours clicking a stupid npc over and over again, just to get through a MSQ I long stopped caring about. And someone over and SE can't even take 5 mins just to say your working on it still. Or suggest a fix. Or anything at all. Being left in the dark is pretty much the worst thing you can do to us right now, yet your doing it so well. Why?

    Exactly. That's all I really want at this point. It's been a day and a half since the only word on the MSQ was "try again later, it will work itself out". We haven't gotten anything since and it clearly isn't working itself out and "trying again later" clearly isn't working. I understand MMO's have trouble at the beginning, but the companies that produce them generally give constant updates to their player base at least giving them an idea. Maybe if SE would give people an idea people wouldn't waste hours upon hours clicking an NPC over and over again hoping to move forward. Keeping the player base completely in the dark is a slap in the face.

    Just tell us something.

We understand that this unfairly places the burden on our players, but we require more time until the issue can be resolved. We continue to work on measures to address this issue and will follow up once we have an update." ~Yoshi-P

    It means we're not supposed to wait at the NPC and spam it till it works. It just makes it worst. Do something else till they report back to us.

    Which was an update given 36 hours ago. "Try again later" is pretty vague when we're a day and a half later still "trying again later". So when exactly are we supposed to "try again later"? Please do tell.

    I did try again later, and then later after that, and later after that. They didn't say spamming the npc makes it worse. And the only thing we do know is that spamming it is the only way to get past it. If SE said hey every back off for a bit and come back in 30 hours we would all be ecstatic because they at least said something. And like I said this is my vacation, yeah I could go do something else. But I chose to do this, and the only way I can possibly do this is by spamming the npc.

    They also don't hint at actions they may be taking which could be viewed as fixing the issue.

    I swear to god if there is another 5 month vacation after 4.0 like they pulled with 3.0 I'm gonna pop a blood vessel.

    They did actually say they're "sorry for this inconvenience" or whatever, so you can spend the rest of your vacation happy. Dunno why you'd spend it on the pre-release of an MMORPG, though, considering there are always problems with them.
