Tonberry always busy ?

Hi

I recently got back in to the game, my character used be in European server "Shiva" i used to get around 360 ping. After searching online i found that most of the australian players(i am in Melbourne) are in Tonberry and i checked the ping which is around 230 so i changed the world to tonberry using world transfer service which costs around 20AUD. My problem is i couldn't log in to the game because it's always busy at any time of the day,waited for few hours still in queue. Is this common for tonberry server or there are more people playing because of the new expansion and on sunday ?

If i want to change the world back to shiva(high ping but i can actually play the game ) do i need to pay again ?

It's just because of the expansion. Usually at peak times Tonberry has queues of less than 50, maybe 30sec wait to log in. Often no queues.

I would recommend staying - Tonberry is a great server and once the expansion rush dies down it will be well worth it. (And yes, you would have to pay again to transfer back.)

Thanks for your reply, i have no problem waiting for few minutes. Currently i am in queue for an hour and "players in queue : 4200". when do you think expansion rush dies down ?

Did the server crash or is that just the middle-of-the-day queue? When I logged in at 7.45 this morning it was only about a 10 person queue...

At the moment I would say in the morning Japanese time. I usually login in the morning to check market board stuff and small stuff, usually it is instant login. For making a character I usually do it about the same time, afternoon or evening times the lock is usually in place by then.
