Laptop Battery Draining While Playing

Details:
I have a 15" MacBook Pro (Late 2011 model) with bootcamp to run windows and play FFXIV.

During gameplay, if my brightness setting isn't close to full dark, the battery of my laptop will actually not charge, but slowly drain!

I've tried putting it on power saver settings and like i said lowered the brightness settings, but the drain slowly continues. Now I mean like maybe 5% every hour so it's not a big deal. I'm just looking for a way to decrease how much power the game is using, because it's obviously putting my computer under a lot of stress.

Using any computer for gaming, regardless of setup (laptop, desktop) will use a lot of power. It takes a lot of power to play games, especially ffxiv. I reccomend having it plugged when while doing so and only having to use the battery power if absolutely necessary. Your laptop's battery draining honestly has nothing to do with this game per say, as any game would do this. BTW this thread shouldn't be on the lodestone site, it should be on apple's.
