Not two days into Early Access and everyone's already acting like SE's abandoned the game and left it to die.

It's the weekend in Japan, too. It's more than likely most of the team is at home resting. They've got a skeleton crew working over the weekend to make sure the game is at least running, and they're probably short-staffed to handle these problems.

Calm the hell down and be patient. I understand you're upset over not being able to play during Early Access, but you should have expected that there would be problems like this. Square-Enix hasn't exactly had the greatest track record in stability for content launches.

I know they dont typically work weekends, but odd to unlock an expansion on an mmo in a weekend, then not plan a crew at the standby to watch it...

This thread isn't about the problems, but about the lack of communication regarding the problem. We expect issues with expansion launches, but we also expect reassurance that they're getting taken care of. When the problems persist, so should the communication.

No one releases a game and then goes home to rest. You're mistaken. Your real job actually begins once the game is running.
