Going on 48 hours with no progress...it's not getting better.

This has gotten ridiculous. Bottle-necking the instances has not given us any fix. We are making no progress while barely anyone is even getting through. At this rate 90% of us will still be sitting here on full release.

Just flag the two early instances as complete for everyone so we can get through this. That would solve the issue of everyone trying to access them at one time..because everyone wouldn't be. We'd have it done and be moving on to duty finders and regular quests in other areas.

And before you reply to this I'm ignoring any salt posts so don't even bother. Leave it in shout chat.

Yep, Stormblood content is basically completely down. As far as I'm aware, it worked for about 2 hours after the servers came up on Friday morning, then went down and has not worked at all since. IF you can log into the game at all (and I stress if, for large potions of today I wasn't able to log in at all), you MIGHT be able to do old content, level other jobs, etc. But that's a big if. Instances all over the game are crashing, even in old content. I am doing level 15-30 rogue class quests, and twice I have gotten disconnected and not been able to log in again for about 3 hours. I guess you can FATE farm in old content, that's the only thing that's relatively safe to do, assuming you can log in.

Even if they were to flag those two quests, the issue would persist. I struggled with the last instance quest I did and I'm struggling again with another I encountered. Trust me, it's NOT just Raubahn and Pipin's solo instances that are holding people down. While I know they are working on it, I do agree that an update would be nice, like with the Sasano incident. I feel for everyone stuck with this, especially the people who just got started. 2.X players can't even do their instances it's so bad.

Yeah I know its not those two that are the only ones broken. What I am 'speculating' is the rest are having problems as well because the high number of people trying to access those two primarily. If the thousands of players got past those two it would probably put major relief and allow others to get into their job instances and stuff (maybe not with rdm and sam stuff) But if you consider basically every early access player is trying to access these two instances it makes sense for them to be the main issue. <--For the simple reason that those thousands would no longer be trying to get into solo instances

It's most likely you and most everyone else will only pass this problem when (hopefully) it will be addressed prior 20th release date maintenance. I can't even concept the fact this particular problem will not be solved by then. You can still do fates or raise some of your gathering/crafting jobs, or try the new jobs until this issue is properly fixed. I gave up already complaining about it, let the hate burn and live with it, try to get something good out of this disaster is the best thing we can do now.

Please understand the issue here is not as simple as most think...a quick fix wont be happening, I suspect its hardware/software on the new NA data center that is to be blamed, I'm getting tired of repeating myself to each person that gets frustrated and maxes yet another post. The issue s serious and needs to be dealt with carefully, please take in Yoshi P's posts, if you can read between the lines and understand the message hes trying to get across it: "a big issue we are trying to fix, sorry please bear with"

Uh sorry no. The ENTIRE game is having issues. Not just NA. We are just the most affected due to the highest population. And they did not change anything on our servers when they moved them. All they did was move them.
And I understand YP said they were working on it however all we were given was a temporary fix and since then no updates whatsoever or anything to just say "we are still working on it" for all we know they could've implemented said fix and that was that, moved on.

Honestly, at this point they should just give everyone a free month, roll back to the last Heavensward patch, and delay the expansion by a month so they can get it sorted. It's obvious Stormblood is in no shape to go live, and neither are the servers.

I'm almost certain its not the game, its the servers themselves...a rollback wont happen nor is it needed, I detected these issues after the upgrade was done, now I have the information that explains it.

We all know that isn't going to happen though. The game is still -somewhat- playable in some form or fashion though I can see -POSSIBLY- MAYBE getting something, especially for those who are stuck trying to do ARR MSQ and cannot progress.
