    Enchanted Redoublement Combo PVE implementation

    So after playing redmage in PVE and PVP for a good while now I have come to wonder why our PVE Riptose, Zwerchhau, and Redoublement are on 3 separate hotbar skills. I find how they implemented it in PVP be EXTREMELY well done, press one button 3 times, does the whole chain combo. Why do we need to waste 3 hot bar spots for a chain skill that will NEVER be used out of sequence.

    PLEASE SE give us the PVP version for PVE. It would save the hotbar mess and make the class play a lot more fluently.

    I agree! The combo is so handy, I would love if it was available for PVE too

    Agreed as well. As it is now, there is zero reason to separate the three actions, since there is never a point you would want to use Zwerchau or Redoublement out of sequence, or to spam Riposte alone if given the option of the other two.

    If button bloat ever becomes a concern for RDM, merging these three into one button should be the first "purge" on the list, which would instantly save 2 action bar spaces.
    (The second being to have our elemental skills "evolve" into appropriate Verfinishers after a combo, and third being to have Jolt II become Impact every other cast, which would save 3 more.)

    Theory as to why we've not see it (yet...possibly):

    First theory is that as of the last time they made the bigger changes (which they save for expansions, it's just how they've decided to approach most job changes they consider bigger, which tends to include mechanical changes...and I'm guessing switching to a combo system for certain actions qualify as "bigger") they had not made the decision to implement combos in PvE like they have in PvP. So even if they have decided to make that change, we won't see it for another two months.

    Another aspect of that theory is that the version in PvP gives you access to all your PvP skills once you are eligible to participate. PvE does not. Its possible that the system they have in place is not (yet) able to account for having the first step in the combo...then two steps...then finally three steps...and be able to switch between them based the level the player is synced to. While I don't know if this would be a complex addition, it is an additional mechanical element not present in the PvE version, meaning they can't just bring that system over, so there's a bit of extra work to do there to get it working.

    Then there's the possibility of it being a difference in philosophy - they may simply believe that having the different buttons in PvE is part of the process of playing against the scripted fights and that you should be able to make mistakes by pressing the wrong button or get it right by pressing the right button.

    Yoshi has said that PvP actions like RDM's melee being merged are not coming to PvE, something to do with it needing more skill to use (by the player). Also RDM doesn't really have much button bloat at all, so that's probably not the most valid reason.

    I would like this change for jobs across the board, that way they can dedicate more job actions on our hotbars for new oGCDs/skills.
