Doesn't NA and EU outnumber Japanese player base?

It's worth noting player distribution, Masamune shares a data center with Chocobo and Shinryu, the two most populated JP worlds. And though Tonberry is very populated, it's mostly on a center with fairly low pop worlds. (Even then, Chocobo only has about 12k active players, compared to Balmung's 18k and Gilgamesh's 15k! And those numbers are from before SB's release)

To anyone asking, apparently I've heard they've started forming lines to instances in the japanese servers, but I can't confirm this.
I would gladly stand in a line if a GM comes in game and like a water park attendent say when it is ok for me to go down the waterslide.

Well Japan has roughly half the US population, it's not surprising they are having less congestion than the US.

No they aren't. I have friends across the JP data centers and other than Chocobo there are maybe one or two people max AFK in front of the bottleneck NPCs. They seriously don't have any problems.
Well here's the thing... it's really up to people whether they want to or not. Not everyone has time. You could technically say it's enabling poor service, but people will do what they think is necessary for themselves.
That said, I've already removed my furniture from my apartment. I gave up my house months ago to prepare for a Kugane house. All I'm waiting fro right now is confirmation that this is working for a good lot of people, and if the problem isn't solved in the next 24 hours.

For anyone even thinking about transferring out, there's 10 wanting to transfer in.
