I liked the EXP buff idea, that would be pretty sweet - but tbh this sort of launch isn't really new, its happened time and time again through all venues of games.. So I guess I expected this from the get go, at least it's not the worst ones I've seen lol.
How about we wait for the problems to be fixed first. I should note that you are entitled to nothing, and any compensation the devs give is a goodwill gesture in a way of apology.
Then we will talk about that on the 20th?

I would be concerned at the length of time that it has taken to fix the congestion, but it would entirely depend on developer communication, and any developments that happen between now and then, so talking about it now is pointless, defeatist, and really bad for community morale.
I disagree. I think it's healthy for the market when the consumer communicates his frustrations with the producer. Either the producer heeds the consumer and works to please him, thus creating a better product for the marketplace, or he doesn't and eventually makes way for someone else to create that better product. That's my theory anyway.I would be concerned at the length of time that it has taken to fix the congestion, but it would entirely depend on developer communication, and any developments that happen between now and then, so talking about it now is pointless, defeatist, and really bad for community morale.
There is communicating frustration, and the toxic manner in which the community has conducted itself, right up to the entitled nature of expecting compensation (which we may get, but we aren't entitled to).I disagree. I'm in favor of free time compensation, as I am quite literally at the point where I cannot advance the MSQ because of the Raubann related issues. I have already done all the quests in the new area. I was lucky enough to get SAM past the initial two quests, but I cannot progress RDM outside of leveling it because I get 90k errors if I try to do the first RDM solo instance.
This early access feels more more like I've had a demo of SB than an actual early access - and it's completely negating the point of early access which is to get us far enough into the story that I'm ahead of everyone else when the expansion officially goes live on Monday.
A week's worth of free time is warranted for the technical issues because it's a roadblock to so many people attempting to progress through the MSQ - especially if you're on a server like Cactuar or Balmung.
We deserve a whole month as it effectivally killed the early acess.
We actually do deserve compensation, not just with the Raubahn and Pipin issues, but the current fact that all instanced duties are broken. People, whether in ARR/HS/SB EA are DCing from dungeons and instances and have have to wait for the timer to run out until they can log back in. There is also the new SB primal fights that are locking people out indefinitely!
This has gone past bad MSQ design flaws now...
