And not just that. Content that has nothing to do with the expansion is affected as well. Even if someone hasn't bought it at all, their content is also broken.

The thing is, there isn't, and I don't know why this is so hard for people white knighting to understand.

I was doing speed runs of PotD earlier with a fixed group and we all disconnected when trying to load in. So we all sat through the queue (mind you this is on Balmung) and gave it another go. Did a few more runs and I was disconnected in the middle of that run. I get back on after another 2500+ queue and decide to try Frontline - instant 90k error. I sit through ANOTHER queue, this time 2800, and as soon as it was logging in another 90k error and booted back to the queue.

So I took a nap, woke up at almost 1a.m. but there's still a 2500 person queue. I'm almost back in and now I'm just hoping I can even access my character without another 90k error.

There needs to be some kind of compensation. I don't know if it needs to be free time, an exp bonus, or what, but there needs to be something. Why are you so invested in defending S-E on this?

whether its a big deal to you or not. the fact that we gave our money to SE with no issues early with no issues and we get a product that has issues, should warrant us some form of compensation.

Those folks deserve something. They're looking at a patch to fix their issue which...who knows how long that is.

What do you mean before it's supposed to be available? It was supposed to be available on june 16 at 2am PDT, the time they scheduled for us to get access to it. Like, we're not using a gameshark to look at unfinished game content. The devs opened this up for us on purpose..

No, it's officially released June 20th, 2017. What you're playing is an Early Access content. A reward for buying a game early. They didn't have to include it, it's what's called a 'Pre Order Bonus'. Bonus means extra. Also, it was available, the fact that they completely underestimated the number of people charging their poorly placed quests.

It's definitely the worst expansion bottleneck I've ever seen but it's not the first one and it won't be the last one. Their seeming inability to fix it is worrying though.
