Please shut servers down

Not the right format. If you care about the community that shouldn't matter to you.

It's absolutely unacceptable for you to allow players to click on an NPC for 12-24 hours with no luck getting in. People have other things they could be doing but instead are stuck sitting at an NPC with hopes that they "get lucky" or the issue is somehow resolved.

It would be nice to have a time frame to schedule around such that people that plan on taking advantage of time off work could actually do other things instead of sitting around with no communication whatsoever on when issues are being resolved.

Just shut the servers down until you guys figure it out. Not doing so puts hundreds of thousands of players stuck in a mental struggle of not knowing when its okay to log off or zone into instances or even attempt to log into the game.

I also want to stress that I love this game and I've been playing Square games ever since I was a child. But this is coming from the perspective of someone who has other responsibilities. We just want to have a time frame in mind for being able to plan other activities. We will wait on you to fix the problems. Just don't leave us in the dark. Playing a half playable game is far worse than it being down for unexpected issues.

I agree with this too.Not only would it do what you say and harm more stubborn people who would forego sleep.
Its also highly advantageous to the lucky few who get passed. There is already a lv 69 on my server who has seen the main city and unlocked a few dungeons.


The servers shoulda went down after 3 hours of realizing this is a huge issue

its absolutely horrible when your fans are asking you to shut down to fix the error and you ignore it. I know SE wont read this but they are potentially losing fans and money over this, you'd think that last part would be enough to get them to fix it but no.

I was hoping there would be at least an emergency maintenance but sadly it has not happen.

Agree. I'm still stuck on Raubahn. what was the point of getting early access just to not be able to play. I have done all the new quests I am capable of doing. I can't even craft any more because I need materials from zones I cant unlock due to MSQ block.

Now there are people complaining they can't get people to run the new dungeons - so thus another road block if we can get there.
