Worst Launch Ever?

This is nothing compared to Warlords of Draenor.

You can't be serious. The Garrison initiation bottleneck was fixed 4 hours after the big gaggles of people started happening. This is by far the worst expansion OR franchise launch I have ever seen. Heaven forbid you should actually make it past Cold Steel and have your character permanently eaten following Susano -.-

I'm just going to take a break for a week and try again. It's just especially infuriating because I spent 200$ yesterday coming back to the game, buying the expansion, time and services, etc., only to experience this :'(

And people on some high pop realms had to wait a week before NPCs could spawn for them to even do quests in warlords of draenor launch.

Actually I'd say it's about the same. queue problems a certain main story quest bottlenecking everything (garrisons) Yeah, I've spent about the same time trying to log in.

Unfortunately I can no longer White Knight Square Enix at this time, but! The official launch isn't now, so we can't technically say this is the worst 'launch' ever. This is more so the worst early access ever.

I would say Warlords of Draenor. I had 10-12 hour queues to get into the server to then get stuck on quest progression in some areas due to the amount of people trying to click an item that disappeared for a few minutes after a person clicked it.

I played on launch day. Servers were fine to be honest.

Hellgate: London, worst. EVER. I was there, bought lifetime (like an idiot), and lived to tell the tale. Blue screens every few minutes, not just me, others. It should be taught in school for how bad it was.

ffxiv 2.0 was probably worse, at least at this point, same issue with people being unable to access instances but iirc it lasted a lot longer. Wow's launches had some issues, but most of them were fixed within a few hours outside of some weird bugs.
