Disconnected when loading in

I got disconnected when loading POTD and now every time I get through the queue, I get instantly disconnected. It's been happening for about twenty minutes now. Is there a way to get around this?

My friends and I are suffering the same fate after queuing for Great Gubal Library. I wish I could say browsing the forums while waiting for it to be fixed was fun but it's so full of vitriolic salt I just can't fully enjoy like good, wholesome salt.

Happened to me a few times, waited about twenty minutes, managed to get in. It seems to be related to the general instability of the instance servers right now, if I were to guess.

Nope just tried to enter floor 91 and got a black screen then 90006 error. Now been trying to get back on for 35+ minutes. They should not charge any of players this month subscription fee.

Your character is probably still "logged in".

I'm having the same issue. I was able to log in on an alt and saw that this character(Stoic Nod) was still in South Shroud with the "In another world" icon next to their name.

edit: My location just changed from South Shroud to PotD. Maybe next will be "Stoic Nod has logged out.".

The way around that is to go and do something different than playing FFXIV. We've experiencing that kind of issue all night long already as well as yesterday late afternoon. The moment additional measurements have been taken to make up for the high load of players on the servers, or people logging off, that's the moment you can enjoy the content. That's currently the only way "around" it. Unless you want to keep clicking the connect button, might drive you insane after a while.

just have to wait i guess? same thing is happening to me except i was dc'd while joining pvp. *sigh* i'm not a complainer, but i'm really disappointed.

Yeah this has been happening to me,

I got suck at the Rhauban Cold Steel instance, so decided to go do other things. I was attempting to level RDM in PoTD, but as soon as you load in, you get kicked... then have to wait in the queue just to get back into the server, and if your character hasn't been kicked from the party yet for DC... you get through the queue and log back in... only to be kicked again... and at the back of the queue again trying to get in.

Its a vicious circle.

Same thing happened to me and my wife while queuing into Frontlines, now unable to reconnect and it says our characters are located at "The Fields of Glory". The longer we are unable to login, the more likely we are stuck till Tuesday reset? *sadface*
