Beastmen are shunned regardless of their intelligence, unless we got c@'s 2.0, they would get chased out of Ul'dah in a second. I could honestly only see them being locked to start in Limsa.

Also, consider the player base. Square would have nothing to gain from making another race for people to barely play.

No. We already have Miqote as a fanservice race. We don't need another one.

But we'll have another one (If SE ever consider adding another race at all, which is definitely not a given). Because that's what sells. Definitely a lot more than furries.

What we don't need is another underused race.

They will most likely satisfy the majority of the playerbase by introducing viera next expansion.
Westerners might like this sort of race but in the asia side nobody likes them so sorry.

This is what I think a lot of furries and people who like fur-kin often don't consider. It'd be different if it was a distinctly western title like Skyrim, and the default male is pretty much a Highlander. Not calling OP a furry, but they're usually the people who request it the most.
