That is an amazing design! I love it. Yes, that's WAY better than "squished and pointy dog head on human body" Lupin.
ew no.

Lupin model looks dumb as heck.
Also ninja turtle race before dog people.
Would people accept a Viera race becoming official? http://cdn4.dualshockers.com/wp-cont...376.jpg?5f8928
I'm afraid of quicksands people making out with futa dogs![]()
They will most likely satisfy the majority of the playerbase by introducing viera next expansion.
Westerners might like this sort of race but in the asia side nobody likes them so sorry.![]()
This is what I think a lot of furries and people who like fur-kin often don't consider. It'd be different if it was a distinctly western title like Skyrim, and the default male is pretty much a Highlander. Not calling OP a furry, but they're usually the people who request it the most.
There's lots of potential for differences in Viera. We obviously aren't getting 'Viera' as we know it from FF12, but surely if we get them we'll be getting a variety of them that exists in the FF14 universe.
It would be interesting if we could have a racial option where the women had more taller/muscular options and men had more feminine options to choose from. That would at least be a throwback to the way Viera lived in FF12 with women being the fighters. (At the very least, it could be a sub-racial option that relates to one of the tribes we'd get to pick from).
Lupin look like they'd be even more difficult than Viera to implement, but I'd still encourage people to draw up their own renditions of how it could work.

Ultimately, anything that cuts the miqo'te population in half is a worthy race - it just saddens me that that means we will be seeing a 'sexy' or 'adorable' or 'cute' race coming in the future rather than something that's just different.
Makes me sad the majority of people are saying no because either a: it's furry (lol) or b: I don't think it's pretty enough.
