No server crashes [...] There's a single problem, that being the solo instances, which is a huge problem, no doubt, but still a single one.

what are you talking about? there have been multiple server crashes, my own server was one of them, and there are issues with the duty finder and people getting 90k'd. the entire gaia datacenter had serious disconnect issues. There are people who have been unable to log in for a day because the first primal somehow rendered them unable to log in and sqex have said it will likely be days before they have a fix. A brief foray into the tech support forum shows there was and are more than one issue.

but by all means, continue to clutch your pearls and become terribly offended on sqex's behalf. sucks there are a couple people who said a guy should die but i am pretty sure that sqex can handle that, as well as the generous and entirely justified wave of negative feedback.

Just the vocal minority that this game has garnered through sheer popularity. They aren't indicative of the community I know and love. I give it a few weeks before they move onto complaining about something else.

Yeah this crappy launch is making people crazy. I've had people, FC mates and people I thought were my friends suddenly and inexplicably be rude and cruel towards me, and I don't like this one bit. everyone is losing it.

Really? The vast majority of the playerbase not being able to get anywhere in the main story or into the new zones is the smoothest launch you've ever seen? On top of the totally normal and usual launch congestion issues, every game has those, but gamebreaking bugs are not "the smoothest launch ever". Can I have some of that koolaid?

This is my concern as well. I think it's imperative I get ahead of the bottleneck by Tuesday if I don't want to be looking at quite possibly being stuck for at least a week.

There is no 'getting ahead'. I'm all the way in Yanxia trying and failing to do a solo duty there. I'm the only person clicking and I'm getting error 90ked.

To me the worst part is how amazing the expansion's content actually is. Several of my FC mates are ahead of the bottleneck and two of them are nearly level 68. Listening to them in discord, the content sounds ridiculously fun and the devs and Yoshi P did a hell of a job making the actual expansion content. This only serves to make the bottleneck more frustrating. Honestly, this early access period has been completely ruined for me by this point.

A smooth launch? At least once I got IN the server during ARR and HW early access I could at least PLAY the game. I've gotten through Raubahn and nothing else since early access started.

And now entering or leaving any instance can 90k you out and keep you out, or delete your character entirely like with SusanoO. Oh but sure...this is a SMOOTH launch. Maybe if you're a famous streamer it is.
